Step 1 Ask
You write the question and choose federal law or a state. CaseCode reads the question for the legal issue, the jurisdiction and any citations you included.
Step 2 Retrieve
The engine searches published opinions, the U.S. Code and the CFR for passages that bear on the issue, and ranks them by relevance to your jurisdiction.
Step 3 Verify
Every citation that appears in the answer is parsed into reporter, volume, page, court and year. Each one is matched to the source. The check covers existence, case name, court, year and pin cite range.
A citation that cannot be found is flagged and is never shown as verified.
Step 4 Cite
The answer is shown with the verified authorities, a link to each source and a table of authorities you can export. You read the opinion, decide what to rely on and file with confidence in the citations.
